Slovenia is well known for its natural climbing areas. Climbing is a popular sport in the Julian Alps. Areas close to Bled are fairy tale land for climbers, as there are numerous routes to be climbed. Climbing Slovenia really offers routes to satisfy any taste and level of knowledge. However, when climbing Slovenia, we strongly recommend you to hire a licenced guide for your climbing trip, as mountains can be tricky, especially if you do not know the area well. Routes that we offer at Altitude activities are a second home for our guides and you will be 100% safe while climbing with us.

From learning the basics to climbing Mt. Triglav

At Altitude activities we offer several climbing Slovenia trips, from rock climbing for kids, where you and your family can learn the basics of climbing, to the most demanding climbing route (IX-IX+/Vi, A2) to the Sphinx at the North face of Mt. Triglav. This climbing Slovenia route is so demanding that we even offer a pre-tour, serving as a training and physical preparation for this extremely demanding climb.
And why not invite a group of your closest friends, your significant other or your entire family to a climbing tour. This way you can spend quality time together and talk about climbing late into the night.

Winter climbing

You can go climbing with us even if you visit Slovenia in winter. Climbing Slovenia in winter is a special adventure that you should not miss. To be precise, Altitude activities offers ice climbing with guidance of world champions. This way, climbing Slovenia rises to another level of climbing, where you can experience climbing from another perspective and experience something different, as you can climb a frozen waterfall. This climb really offers half a day spent in a winter wonderland.
